Horsmonden TWILite met on Wednesday for a wonderful evening of food laughter and entertainment
The committee cooked 8 recipes from 8 different decades for everyone to enjoy. The recipes came from The WI cookbook By Mary Gwynn (who coincidentally will be at our February meeting)
If you wore a hat , which all 27 ladies did, then you got a free drink from the bar!
We then played a game of" Would I lie to you" based on the television series when 3 ladies told 3 stories that could be a truth or a lie.
Riding on a tortoise in The Galapagos ,bullied by two fish in French Polynesian islands or pretending to have got a china ornament from China for the mother in law when in fact it was from E Bay!!!!
After this Sarah , Christine and Gill gave 3 short light hearted presentations about the already mentioned countries they had recently visited.
As this was the first meeting back after the summer break the members then had the opportunity to sign up for the many extra activities we have on offer on this year's programme.
Do visit our website on www.horsmondentwilite.weebly.com or e mail us on [email protected] or come along to our next meeting on 14th October 7.30 for 8.00pm start when we are being scared by Dennis Chambers who is talking about the haunted village of Pluckley
